From the vineyards to the distillery…

Nearly all of the grapes have been harvested in Friuli and much of the pomace and must has been distilled into grappa and grape brandy. Only the estate-owned Picolit (above) has yet to be picked.

Sam sampled the Fragolino that had just arrived at the distillery as Patricia looks on.

The mixologists all lent a hand in distillation this morning.

Tonight the mixologists will face off in the Nonino cocktail challenge…
