In September 2011, the Nonino family asked Italian food and wine historian Jeremy Parzen, Ph.D. to accompany three leading U.S. mixologists to visit the Nonino distillery in Friuli.This blog is a chronicle of their trip, the "Nonino mixologist challenge" to be held at the Nonino distillery during their stay, and their impressions of the people, places, foods, wines, and distillates that they encounter!
